Jennifer Linnaea was raised near a Very Tiny Forest in Collinsville, Illinois. As a child she enjoyed reading, creating alien cultures in her mind, and disappearing into the Very Tiny Forest for hours on end. Her first short stories were co-authored at slumber parties and shamelessly involved everyone she knew.
Jennifer’s fiction has appeared in, among other places, Strange Horizons, Daily Science Fiction, and Lady Churchill’s Rosebud Wristlet. Her favorite topics are aliens and language.
After many years working at the local library, Jennifer’s gone back to school to study data science and ethics. When not writing or studying, she enjoys practicing Aikido, drinking tea, and spending time with her partner. She lives in Eugene, Oregon.
